Custom CNC Milling From Your Drawing
CNC milling is used to make custom components with flat surfaces, pockets, holes, slots, contours and other features created with rotating cutting tools. Anco Precision reviews each milling job from the customer drawing or CAD model so the machining approach fits the actual part.
Material, geometry, quantity, tolerance and finish requirements can all affect how a part should be produced. A STEP model is very useful for understanding geometry, while a drawing can identify controlling tolerances, threads, finishes and other requirements.

What to Send for a CNC Milling Quote
Send the drawing or STEP file, material, quantity, critical tolerances, threads, surface-finish requirements and requested completion date. Include any inspection or documentation requirements that are part of the customer's specification.
CNC Milling FAQ
Can I submit a STEP file online?
Yes. Our online quote form accepts STEP files and other common drawing formats. A drawing is also helpful when it contains dimensions and tolerances that are not fully defined by the 3D model.
Can Anco review prototype milling work?
Yes. Prototype and development components can be reviewed from customer drawings and CAD files.
Can you quote repeat production?
Yes. Include the expected quantity and current drawing revision so the complete requirement can be evaluated.
Can a milled part also require turning or Wire EDM?
Yes. Some components use more than one manufacturing process. The finished-part drawing helps determine the appropriate sequence.
